Welcome

At the end of high school, Liz was considered to be someone that was highly likely to be successful. In her year book she claimed she aspired to be a ‘high flying executive’. As it turned out she took the road less travelled, and that linear trajectory to the top of traditional success was not to be. Becoming a mother and wife at an early age contradicted society’s, her family’s and even her own definition of success.

As a result Liz found herself working hard to become the opposite of the stereotypically labelled ‘young mum’. With the support of her husband, Mark, she continued to work full time and study in the evenings and on weekends. As a result she has been able to complete degrees in business and education, a certificate IV in training, her masters in organisational learning and commence working on her PhD.

Thankfully Liz's career did not suffer, even if it doesn’t look like what she originally thought it would. In fact the career portfolio she has developed, contributes to make her a more well-rounded consultant with a breadth and depth of knowledge and experience beyond her years! Her career to date has included eight years as a marketing consultant, one year as a high school teacher, then a transition to several roles in leadership and organisational development management. On realising her passion was in assisting individuals and businesses to be the best they can be, she discovered her niche in capability and development and is now the Director and Principal Consultant of multi award winning consulting firm, Successium Pty Ltd.

She is often labelled the ‘superwoman’ and asked how she ‘does it all’. Liz believes she has uncovered the key to success as ‘vision’ and ‘focus’. She says; "If you had asked me a year ago if I thought I was successful, you would have got a very different answer to what I would say now. Today I will say to you, that yes, I am successful. I have recently discovered that success is not a destination, but simply part of the journey, yet most importantly an individual and evolving concept".
